Description
I was never a bird-watcher but my dad gave me a love of birds and nature. He so enjoyed listening to them sing their hearts out to no one in particular, but just because they can. This beautiful 18th-century illustration of a blackbird building a nest of blossoming flowers with swirls of red ribbon reminds me of the first bird I saw. This is an example of Vintage Gone Modern, mixing a bit of the old with the new, like giving it a fresh coat of "pop" for today's home. This colorful creation is one of 10 in a series inside the Birds of Fancy collection.
